Technical Analysis of 0Cr20Ni32Fe High‑Nickel Heat‑Resistant and Corrosion‑Resistant Alloy

19 Aug,2026

0Cr20Ni32Fe is an iron‑nickel‑based high‑alloy heat‑ and corrosion‑resistant alloy. It is a high‑nickel austenitic alloy with a nickel content of approximately 32%, and is commonly classified in China as a transitional grade between iron‑nickel‑based superalloys and heat‑resistant steels. Unlike conventional 18‑8 stainless steels, this material features a substantially increased nickel content above 30%. Its design prioritizes high‑temperature oxidation resistance, carburization resistance and hot‑corrosion resistance. Its chemical composition is highly correlated with the Incoloy 800 (UNS N08800) series alloys, and it can be regarded as the low‑carbon domestic equivalent of Alloy 800.

In Chinese standards, this material is generally categorized under iron‑nickel‑based corrosion‑resistant alloys or superalloy systems. The digit “0” in the grade designation stands for ultra‑low carbon (≤0.03%–0.05%), which guarantees intergranular corrosion resistance in the welded condition.

Core positioning: An iron‑nickel‑based high‑alloy material combining high‑temperature oxidation resistance, carburization resistance and excellent corrosion resistance. It is widely used in critical high‑temperature equipment such as petrochemical cracking furnace tubes, radiant tubes for heat‑treatment furnaces, and heat exchangers in the nuclear industry.
